First Parasailing experience at Baga Beach : After a train journey to Goa, refreshed a bit in the lodge and directly off to the Baga beach, which was 1km from the place we stayed. It's a straight long road from where you can see the parachutes flying around. Had to pay 1.6k/per head for jet skieng which is actually mandatory because it's the only way to get to the centre of the beach to do parasailing. the real thrill started when the next person in the queue is you. Suited up to fly now. For first few seconds it was a bit scary, later got used to it and enjoyed the ride around the skies.
Calungute Beach : The largest beach in North Goa.
Recommended for sea food lovers. it's a romantic dinner setup with golden lights in an open ground at the beach. This beach is 2km from Baga beach. For vegetarians, Varsha restaurant near Baga beach is very much recommended. The taste was so good with resonable price. After a yummy dinner, back to the lodge.
Anjuna Beach : Famous for trance parties.Anjuna also hosts the famous flea market (Every Wednesday) and (every Saturday) where you can purchase products from all over India, as well as from foreigners, ranging from fruits to jewelry, clothes, hashish and electronic devices. In Wednesday they have day market which starts from morning and ends at 7:30pm and on Saturday they have night market. Unfortunately, nothing was there when we went. Just had a walk around the beach and returned back.
A drive in the rain : Rented 4 bikes ( Aviator) as we were 8 in a group. It was 300/day per bike. So we took it and started to go for the places which are very far from the lodge we stayed. We visited some of the less known places. Few funny and scary things happended, but wasn't something very serious. After few minutes, it started to rain heavily and we had to drive to a long distance in that rain which I loved it very much. Last day was just so good. Now it's time to return the bikes and return to Chennai.
