My First Solo Travel

Hampi

It not easy to travel solo, That's exactly the reason for me to try it out. May be, my first solo trip hasn't been for a long distance, still had so much of memories and confidence, desipte my fear. The only thing I planned before going to Hampi is the date, rest I left to Hampi to take me anywhere it wants.

En(D)iwali: As no one was there to take photos of mine, my cycle and my backpack was so lucky this time. And that's how the day and the trip got ended.

Hampi-ness Diwali.

Highlights : Solo Travel, First time solo travel, own camping and sunset at hilltop, new friends, Hampi Diwali, Fearless experiences, Temples and Monuments, cycling and finally peaceful moments.

Night Trekking

Ramnagara, Karnataka

Birthdays are special - Surrounding myself with positive vibes and spellbound nature. I often think, why are we staying positive only on special occasions like birthdays and new year? What if we stay positive our entire life? Yes, it's something which will make you stronger and smarter everyday. I wished for going on a debut solo travel on my birthday, unfortunately I couldn't, but still I have always believed something better is waiting because I have experienced it everytime. Again, not a disappointment, it's an amazing night trek at 12 am along with rappelling with my travel brother and my travel friend. And again a stunning sunrise.
I am really proud of what I am today and I will grow more everyday. No man is a failure who has friends.
I started to believe in things , best things, and never will stop to do what I love . Experienced magical things in these 6 months which I could never think of.
Every trek I go, I always get excited like it's my first trek experience. That's the magic of nature.

Backup plan is better than the original

Vattakanal, Kodaikanal

Destination is the only thing we decide and plan. We will never know what's waiting for us, may be the best, may be the worst, Just need to accept things and handle it smartly. Travel is all about being the same in any situations and handling it in a smarter way.

Drive or Trek?

Nandi Hills, Karnataka

This is the reason why I love the monsoons , especially on the hills where you can see yourself drenched in fog and rain. It's Quecha boys' travel time . Sleeping at home on a lazy Saturday afternoon with the window open, was how the weekend was planned to be. A sudden blow of cold air entering through the windows woke me up, which even the alarm has always failed to do. Who would want to miss the chance of roaming around in such a beautiful weather ? Definitely not us , the Quecha boys. With a sudden flow of energy, we started by visiting one of the best lakes in Bangalore - the Sankey Tank. Then we rented a bike for a long drive to the resort, just at the foothills of Nandi Hills, followed by overnight camping in the tent. We started trekking to the hilltop with full energy, just before dawn struck . The most amazing thing was, we were the only people to go on a trek instead of driving to the hill top. Peace , serenity and calmness, and of course, just two fellow human souls trekking along - what more would I ask for ?!

The Golden Goodbye

Mysuru

A golden goodbye from Mysore. But we did not want to part with this beautiful city of rich culture and heritage . We fell in love with the city, people, transport, weather, parks, cleanliness and its perfect balance of technology and nature. When I came to Bangalore, I never wanted to go back to Chennai , but now I never want to go back to Bangalore.

Rain Trek - The Monsoon Chase

Tadiandamol, Coorg

Planned to chase my favourite season - the monsoons and it was Tadiandamol this time. The feel you get when you climb up the hills in the monsoons, is like waiting forever for the seasonal yet yummy mangoes. But the feel of savouring ripe mangoes is beyond the power of words to describe, just like the satisfaction of reaching the summit.

It's party time with nature and hills. That's how travellers plan the new year. Trekking to the hilltop and camping with bonfire is the best way to end the year and start the new year with plans to travel the whole year.

Get together trek

Nagalapuram Falls

College friends trip - Seemed to be impossible, as everyone would have expirenced it. Amazing trekking experience with lots of fun and fun only. It was really unbelievable to see more in numbers. Booked a tempo traveller and car to accomodate everyone.

Not the first, But the best

Sikkim

This trip got me uncontrollable tears. Whenever the memories of Sikkim haunts me, some emotions surges through my viens to my heart whispering to make a plan right now, but in reality which wasn't possible at all. It's always a goosebump feel whenever I think of my favourite treks in Sikkim-Goecha La, No words to describe this trek at my first sight of the picture of that trek in winter.

Highlights : Yuksom (Place and the people), Magical Backyard Garden at Limboo Homestay, Mini Zipline, eagerly waited view of Kanjanjunga peak, Momos and Chowmein, Buddha park of Ravangla (Golden Glow at night), Nathu La drive, Paragliding at Gangtok, Homestay at Hee-Bermiok, Hee water garden and Organic food.

First Trekking Experience

Chikmagalore

It's totally worth to bunk the college and plan a trip. May be not the best one, but still a memorable and a thrilling trip. Started with disappointments, but ended up with lot of thrilling adventures and memories.

Highlights :The Bat Caves in Mulliyanagiri hilltop. Lost, but found a home and Hebbe falls.

Party or Adventure?

Goa

No matter how famous a city or state is for something, Adventures and treks are the first important things I always feel, see and plan. Goa, known as the party city, was one of them. First thing I researched about the city is the adventure sports and the beaches where they are happening. Yes, finally did my first parasailing and second jet skieng in Anjuna beach. Unfortunately, Bungee jumping was closed for some reasons which was just before a week we travelled to Goa.

Highlights : Bike ride, Parasailing with dip, Jet skieng, beaches, Accident, Sleeper bus and Forts.

First jet skieng

Mangalore, Karnataka

Couldn't explore much of the city as we went for a wedding, but visited some of the popular places like St Mary's Island, where I experienced my first adventure sport - Jet Skieng. Eventhough, I was very young, may be 15 or 16, I wasn't scared to do thrilling adventures and treks, perhaps the first one to volunteer.
